Shrimp al Forno

"baked shrimp"This recipe for gamberoni al forno (baked jumbo shrimp) is simple and easily expandable. It has just four ingredients, three of which you probably have in the kitchen most days.

The simple word shrimp is astoundingly confusing when you try to get into details relevant to the kitchen. Please see Shrimp.

Ingredients
12 oz Jumbo shrimp (16/20, head off)
1 T Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
2 T Chopped Parsley
2 clv Garlic (Crushed with a knife)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375.
  2. In a baking dish large enough to hold the shrimp in a single layer, put the oil, parsley, and crushed garlic.
  3. Peel the shrimp and roll them in the oil to coat them.
  4. Cover the pan and bake until done, 10 minutes more or less depending on the size of the shrimp. They'll be more tightly curled and more vividly colored when they're done.
Notes

I used colossal U12 shrimp in the photo but next time I will use 16/20.
