This is a festive and simple preparation that I made to accompany a wonderful sauerbraten.

15 oz Red Cabbage (in a jar)
1 Apple (cut into 6 thick pieces)
6 whole cloves
Instructions
Stick a clove into each apple piece and add to the red cabbage. Simmer until warm and serve.
