Communist Cocktail, as made by Stephanie at 85Main in Putnam, CTMy friends at the Old Colony Club make fun of my unrepentantly lefty political leanings, so I figured what better way to celebrate my birthday with than a Communist?

It's a light drink, both in flavor and in alcohol, with more fruit juice than liquor.

This one was mixed by Stephanie at the excellent 85Main in Putnam, CT.

Ingredients
1 oz London Dry Gin
1 oz Orange Juice
3⁄4 oz Lemon Juice
1⁄2 oz Cherry Brandy
Instructions
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Serve ungarnished (garnishes are so bourgeois!)
