I drink a lot of coffee. I like it strong and black, and dark-roasted. Other people like it other ways; I think the lighter Dunkin Donuts coffee is a bit more acid and goes better with sugar and half-and-half.
We in New England are lucky to have an abundance of excellent local coffee roasters and small coffee shops. I will list on the pages below this one as many as I can uncover in my travels. Please feel free to suggest more!
Sadly, not all independent roasters can survive in the face of constant marketing from Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks, and other coffee giants. Do patronize your local coffee roasters and sellers! And if you discover that one of those listed has perished, please let me know by commenting below.
