Penobscot Bay Meadow Road and Chicken Curry

Penobscot Bay Meadow Road with a CurryPenobscot Bay's Meadow Road is an unfiltered Bavarian-style hefeweizen. I figured the famous light, crisp, lemony-spicy flavors would pair well with a mild curry.

I made the curry with sauteed onions and Madras curry powder, with no added heat. The Meadow Road worked very well, with the light-spicy flavors all coming together on a hot August night.

I think this would work equally well with up to moderate or even hot levels of chili-spiciness to the dish. I was unable to try that because I was feeding civilians (my wife) but I do plan to test that prediction when I can get another bottle of Meadow Road.

Here's a review by The Insurance Guy.
