Hot Mulled Cider

By John, 22 October, 2013
Description
This is a delicious and easy New England fall favorite! I make it sometimes at work, because all you need is a slow cooker and a ladle. It's always a hit in the fall.
Yield
32 Servings
Preparation time
2 hours, 30 minutes
Ingredients
1 gal Fresh Apple Cider
1 Orange Zest, long (studded with whole cloves)
15 whole cloves
2 Cinnamon sticks (2-inch)
Instructions
  1. Peel the orange and stud the zest with the whole cloves.
  2. Add the cider, cinnamon, and clove-studded orange zest to a slow-cooker.
  3. Warm the cider on High for 2 hours, then set it to Stay Warm.
