Notch Session Ale

By John, 30 October, 2011

Notch Session AleNotch Session Ale, from Notch Brewing in Ipswich, MA, is a tasty solution to an old "problem". Many craft brewers push the high-gravity ales, Imperial everything ales, and whatnot. Notch fits a niche providing flavorful lower-ABV ales for those of us who want to enjoy a good brew with some tender Lucki 7 Farms pulled pork at lunchtime.

The Session Ale was fresh, flavorful, decidedly  hoppy but not obnoxiously so - it was the perfect soocompaniment to he aforementioned porcine succulence on a cool October day in the Witch City.
