Richmond and I are writing a fun little book, hoping to get it into gift shops and online for 2020 when the Plimoth Colony celebrates our 400th birthday!
We know that the Pilgrims did not drink cocktails, but we do. This project is a means of getting to know the Pilgrims through careful mixological research. We recognize that advanced and over-zealous research carries well-known risks...but the Forefathers (and neglected Foremothers) faced risks too. It's the least we can do to stare down the dangers and forge ahead, sampling Pilgrim Spirit after Pilgrim Spirit until we come to appreciate the wide palette of saints, strangers, sailors, and utter scoundrels who formed the unique foundation of this imperfect union.
