By John, 11 March, 2013
Description
Jeremy's Maple Chaser, photo by Vermont Spirits Distilling CompanyA wonderfully evocative and reflective end-of-winter cocktail for when you have a moment to relax and think about the hardships past, and the labors ahead.
Yield
1 Servings
Preparation time
5 minutes
Ingredients
2 t Aged Maple Syrup (Wood's Bourbon Barrel-Ages)
3 oz Vermont Gold Vodka
1 ds Orange Bitters (I use Regan's)
Instructions
Put barrel-aged syrup in the bottom of a cocktail glass. Shake vodka with ice, or take it from the freezer/snowbank. Gently pour vodka over (not into) the syrup. Add the bitters without stirring. Drink in layers, finishing with the aged syrup chaser.
