Train Dinner 1: Cider, Cheddar, and Apples

Train Dinner 1

The first of our special Train Dinners was closest to New England. we were following the Erie Canal across upstate New York, so we went with:

  • Strongbow Dry Cider
  • Dry Sausage from Morse's Sauerkraut
  • Grafton Village 2-year sharp cheddar from The Concord Cheese Shop
  • Vermont Shepherd from their honor stand.
  • A Cortland Apple and an Empire Apple
  • Toasted Walnuts
    It was a delicious tast of home before reaching Chicago and the vast expanses beyond.
